World's Smallest Primate



Tarsier is a nocturanl promisimian primate that can be found on the island of Bohol. They are only approxiamtely 3 to 6 inches long, have a largest eyes relative to body size of any living creature. the eyes of a tarsier are cannot be moved in their sockets, it can also swivel their necks 180 degrees to either both direction  and it’s skull is only 1 cm long. 

Tarsier is considered to be the World’s Smallest Primates. Once before the species of this primates was so abundant in the rainorests of Philippines, Borneo and Indonesia, but due cruelty their species are becoming smaller and smaller. Some people captured them and make them their pets and also destruct their inhabitants. A few advice to the people, life in captivity make them miserable and please do not endangered animals to maintain the balance of our ecosystem. There are some institutin that are concern and are wlling to preserve and protect the Philippine Tarsier such as “The Philippine tarsier Foundation” located at Km. 14 Cananapan Corella, Bohol Phillipines 6300.
